Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of proven procurement experience and possess extensive knowledge of local markets for procurement.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements, and provide strategic advice and support.
· Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish and maintain strong supplier relationships.
· Monitor market trends, evaluate supplier performance, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process.
· Oversee and perform the preparation of procurement documents, such as requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), comparatives, and purchase orders.
· Review and approve contracts to ensure accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints.
· Maintain procurement metrics and KPIs to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
· Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and technological advancements in procurement.
· Manage the procurement operations, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure efficient and effective procurement operations.
· Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings.
Requirements:
· Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
· Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record of success in managing procurement activities.
· In-depth knowledge of local markets for procurement, including suppliers, pricing trends, and regulatory requirements.
· Experience in procuring items across various categories such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, Food and Beverages, and IT.
· Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
· Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of procurement best practices, standards, and regulations.
