To work with a team of skilled developers to build and maintain client projects and Web platforms based on detailed functional specifications. Conduct regular code reviews, testing and releases from development environments into production using Agile methodologies. Manage day-to-day tickets, issues and enhancements and ensure work is correctly prioritized and completed on time. Lead projects to improve functionality, reliability, security and performance of our applications and the data that supports it. Must be able to lead complex technical discussions with developers as well as translating this for non-technical management.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be an active coder
- PHP 8.0 with Strong Object Oriented Skills including class abstraction, extension and polymorphism, modern php, strict typing, composer, xdebug
- Experience working with AWS and Linux environments
- Expert with Laravel.
- Experience with Vue.js or other front-end frameworks such as Angular or React
- Expertise in source control, code review, and repository management with git
- Knowledge of software engineering principles and patterns like Dependency Injection, SOLID, Service Containers and Providers
- Experience with Dockerised/Containerised environments
- Experience in building highly distributed, eventually consistent systems
- Experience with microservice architecture and message brokers
